Questions & Answers

Q: Is it possible to get a free baler?
A: Yes, it is possible.  The volume of your recycled product, Size bales have another thing to do with it to.   Last, but not least the current market price of your baled product.  Further, we can give you a waste audit and show where you would be with a rental, or a purchase of a baler.

Q: We already have a baler.  Can we use your bale rebate program?
A: Yes, location may have an issue, but we look forward to hearing from you.

Q: I don’t have room for a big baler.  Do you still buy small bales if I go that route?
A: Well, that is a good question.  Several things play with bale value.  Size, quantity, location, and etc have a say in pricing of recycled product.  Ask for a free waste audit for your recycling needs.  you can email us here, and we can send a form for you to fill out and get everything started.

Q: How much storage space do I need for bales, and how much area will a baler take up?
A: Good question, and hopefully this is a good answer.  An average modern 60″ baler needs around a hundred square feet of floor space,  and a ceiling height over 12 ft.  Bales can be stored 3 high (if your insurance will allow it) for loading.  So, if you can store 3 high; you need about 20 sq ft for 3 bales.  If you have a forklift for stacking.  If not it will take up 60 sq ft.  Bales can be stored outside temporarily, but a penalty may be had if moisture content is too high.  Typically a business makes more money using floor space for business than recycling, and a cut in rebate amount is minimal.

Q: I have a smaller store and seem to generate a good bit of recyclable material, but my store will not accommodate a larger baler.  What could I expect on a return of an investment with smaller bales produced with a small baler.
A: Well, you can save dumpster rental fees.  You can usually give away small bales easily, but much depends on your location.  Email us for a form to fill out and get a quantitative number for your review.
